Venue, Room and Parking Hire
Our beautiful Literacy Library sits at the heart of our building in London, near Waterloo station. It is a permanent home for our 23,000 children’s books and also a space which can be used not just by the thousands of teachers who work with us at CLPE but also by other charities and organisations who currently don’t have access to an event, library or a training space.
We have lovely, fully equipped training rooms, meeting rooms and a cafe which is covered in drawings by illustrators, poets and authors.
Would you like to hold your meeting or event in our building?
If you do so, not only will you have a wonderful and inspiring event you will also be supporting our work to help all children become confident, happy and enthusiastic readers and writers, with all the benefits this brings.
We can accommodate groups of varying sizes in a number of spaces and can offer whole day, half day or evening rentals.

Parking
We are able to provide parking spaces for local businesses. All parking spaces do need to be booked in advance by phoning our Premises Officer, John Everett on 020 7401 3382/3

Library Hall
The magnificent hall at the heart of our building is used for conferences, book launches and large events. It holds up to 90 people and provides a spacious venue with character and atmosphere.
Training Rooms
Our facilities offer a comfortable and professional environment in which to conduct your training. Each room has projection facilities and full internet access including wifi for delegates. We can configure our rooms to meet your requirements. We have three training rooms which provide a creative environment for up to 30 people seated presentation style or 20 people seated at tables.
Catering
We have a dedicated cafe space and can provide refreshments such as tea, coffee and buffet lunch in meeting rooms or our canteen. We can also cater for evening events using quality, local suppliers.
