This free, school based event will help you to see what Power of Reading looks like in practice in White Woman Lane Junior School.

  • Visit classrooms and see Power of Reading teaching and learning across the age ranges;
  • Hear from the team at White Woman Lane Junior School about the ways in which they have embedded the Power of Reading Programme across their school to raise standards in reading and writing.
  • Explore the range of quality texts used across the primary age-ranges with CLPE Advisory Teacher, Darren Matthews
  • Find out the answers to your questions about building a quality text-based English curriculum through CLPE’s Power of Reading programme. 

Run in partnership with White Woman Lane Junior School and the Nebula Federation, this free leaders’ event will demonstrate how CLPE’s flagship Power of Reading training can support your school to structure and develop a quality text-based English curriculum, improve teacher subject knowledge and raise engagement and attainment in reading and writing for your children.  

This event is designed for Head Teachers, Deputy Heads, Senior Leaders and Literacy Leaders.  

Bookings are strictly limited to a maximum of 2 attendees per school.
