The 'Lulu' series is perfect for capturing children's early experiences, and this book is no exception.

Lulu is so excited that her Nana-Bibi is coming from Tanzania to stay, and she helps her parents prepare for her arrival. "Every day is special" when her Nana is around: they go shopping together, cook a special family meal, and spend their evenings dancing and listening to stories. With simple text that helps the youngest readers understand their world and conceptualise of family trees: "Lulu has her Mummy. Lulu’s Mummy has Nana-Bibi", and illustrations packed full of detail. A particularly touching spread shows three generations of women doing one another's hair. A wonderful addition to the series.
