Lara Bell - Primary Advisory Teacher

Lara has extensive knowledge and experience of teaching in the early years and school leadership as an Early Years Foundation Stage Leader. She has a particular interest in positioning high quality texts at the heart of the curriculum and classroom practice. She holds a Master of Education from Cambridge University specialising in educational research in the early years.

Lara is an interim member of our expert teaching team. She will be supporting the delivery, evaluation and development of our Early Years programme including the Mercers Funded Closing the Vocabulary Gap project.

If Lara could be any book character she would be Errol from Errol’s Garden by Gillian Hibbs, she says, “I lived for many years in large cities longing for a garden and, much like Errol, I love to work with the community around me in ways which connect people.”
