Enter our Ten-Word Tiny Tales competition and win CLPE membership and a bundle of books for your school

Attention schools! CLPE are delighted to be launching a competition with Walker Books to celebrate the publication of Children’s Laureate Joseph Coelho’s latest book: Ten-Word Tiny Tales. The book is made up of 20 different stories, all made up of just 10 words each! Each tiny tale is illustrated by one of 20 different children’s book illustrators.

The competition, inspired by Ten-Word Tiny Tales is that children will work in author-illustrator partnerships to come up with their own words and illustrations to tell their Tiny Tales to an audience, just like Joseph Coelho does with the different illustrators in the book. 

The prize for the winning story a bundle of Walker Books for your children to enjoy and a CLPE School Membership, which will give every teacher in your school access to a range of text recommendations, detailed lesson plans and resources to support them in the teaching of reading and writing in their age phase, using a range of incredible children’s books, plus a 30% discount on books at Peter’s Books.
