CLPE partner with A New Direction for a series of FREE Masterclasses!

We are delighted to be working in partnership with A New Direction on the launch of Primary Arts today, a new creative, cultural programme for London primary schools.

Primary Arts offers free access to high quality, inspiring cultural and creative opportunities for your children and staff.

To support schools in these challenging times, the entire programme is offered free of charge and is available to all year groups from Reception to Year 6, as well as to primary SEND settings.

Our teaching team will be delivering a series of four INSET masterclasses, including:

Building ‘Reading for Pleasure’ Schools - Tuesday 12 March 2024
Planning Creatively Around Quality Texts - Tuesday 23 April 2024
Transforming Literacy Through Poetry - Tuesday 21 May 2024
Transforming Literacy Through Picture Books - Tuesday 25 June 2024

These masterclasses will take an inclusive approach and are suitable for teachers working in primary mainstream and SEND settings. An access budget is available to support participant engagement in this programme, for example for transport, BSL interpretation or other costs.
