CLPE announced as finalist for the BETT Awards 2024

We're delighted to be shortlisted for the Bett (British Educational Training and Technology) Awards 2024 in two categories:

• 2024 Primary Free Digital Content App or Open Educational Resource for the work of CLPE as the National Poetry Centre for Primary Schools providing an extensive bank of online resources aimed at Primary School Teachers to support them in their teaching of poetry.  
• 2024 Transformational Impact for the work of CLPE as an organisation transforming lives through literacy with particular focus on our flagship programme The Power of Reading 

This is great recognition of the work of CLPE within the education industry and follows on from a range of prestigious awards over the past few years. The charity was the winner of the 2019 Eleanor Farjeon Award, Southwark Charity of the Year in 2020, Teach Primary Award winners in 2021 and 2022 and London Book Fair Charity of the Year in 2022. We have also been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award 2024.

The winners for the Bett Awards will be announced on 24 January 2024.
